My personal strat is to go Sparking Mode as soon as I can and beat the ever loving crap out of him. That way you bypass his super armor, and you can do some insane damage until it runs out.

It's not unified, it's just the loudest whiners. It's not hard in the slightest if you know how to play the game. They have problems because they probably just jumped into story mode right off of boot so they don't know how to actually play the game. I beat him first try and retried him a couple times to see what the ruckus was about and still barely had to try. And I shattered my right thumbnail earlier this week so I can't press the buttons as fast as I'd like to lmfao. Either they all just suck really bad at the game or they're gaslighting for the memes.

For someone who didn't have prior experience playing Tenkaichi 3 I thought I was doing pretty good winning the first online fight I tried then beating every stage on the first try. That was until the Great Ape Experience. (Only ever got to play Tenkaichi 2 a little bit back when I was a wee child when my brother brought over his friend's playstation 2 for a week)
