Thank you for the over view of their life. I de appreciate your statement: “Sadly he passed away”. That respect towards these men is important. Some served in war or a professional life that inspired others. Great Escape was a movie my dad loved…he was on Military Transport in the Pacific ,WWII. May All our soldiers rest in peace

Yes respect is important to these actors : it’s a shame that isn’t shown in the awful disgraceful click bait photos . These people are not in the least bit interested in the subject matter : if they were they would show COMPLETE respect which they blatantly don’t !

Realized this movie has Dr Loomis from Halloween and the Doctor from NCIS today. Movie and cast is great. Kinda odd they used 40-50 year old dudes to portray prisoners of war.

David McCallum from NCIS was 28 and it’s a long story lost his wife Jill Ireland to Charles Bronson while making this film. Steve McQueen was 32/ James Garner 35. John Leyton 27 ( still alive. James Coburn 33,Bronson was 41 but looked about 25.
