Love your videos, dude. As a suggestion for future videos, you should do Jowangsin (Korean goddess of fire), Xochiquetzal (Aztec goddess of love and beauty), Innana/Ishtar’s descent into the underworld (both the Sumerian and Semitic/Akkadian versions), and Lieu Hanh (Vietnamese goddess and one of the Four Immortals in Vietnamese mythology). As always, keep up the good work showcasing more of the world’s various mythologies👍!

You’re probably right. Everyone would’ve defaulted to Herakles to take him on. Pollux wanted the smoke though and I’m glad he got to shine.

0:00 Alright Jason and the Argonauts are back and looking for fresh water to fuel their ship. Hey there was huge man with strong and scar his name was Amycus . 0:23 He tell them that this Fountain had been created for him by Poseidon. They looked at each other in combat again Amycus Pollux goes first. 0:50 His brother Castor tell him. They watch Pollux and Amycus are fighting in combat. 🥊 1:39 Pollux stood up and said that the fight wasn't over yet. Now they fight again. He was great agility dodged all attack from Amycus fist. Wow great focused his attacks on Amycus weakness. 2:30 🤩Pollux finally knocked the giant out Amycus his chin. Their words never again to challenge anyone and in that way Poseidon's offering would become a gift to all travelers. Pollux spared his opponent. 3:03 👏The Argonauts cheer for him to defeated him in combat and got fresh water a world greatest boxer. 😃👏 Now that was totally amazing story about The Saga of Jason and the Argonauts Ep 6 The Great Fight of Pollux. Now wonder Pollux was great skills boxer like Punch out game to Jason and the Argonauts. They need to train hard and exercise.

Also, "Throwing to the body is like money in the bank: it adds up and rewards your patience." Not an Ali quote, but an old boxing metaphor that applies to this story.

Great story and video! However, if "The giant landed some extremely dangerous blows." [ 1:48 ] Then Pollux could not have dodged them. It is, likely, just a typo (or oversight). The more accurate verbiage would read: "The giant *threw some extremely..." or "The giant attempted to land some extremely dangerous blows." Look forward to the next episode! 😊

I mean, from most Gods really. Pollux was just a human at this point in His life. Obviously there were signs of His impending divinity but ultimately He was a regular guy. A fight would be the least of His concerns from the vast majority of the pantheon
