Funny how we have so many "what was I thinking?!?" moments when we look at some of the things we once thought we liked - fresh eyes, different perspective, more understanding of what we like and don't like - I need to do what you're doing with my patterns!

Loving the pattern destash. It encourages me to get rid of some of mine, plus take a second look at my keepers.

Some cool patterns amongst them all. Your style is so much like mine, I love a full skirt when it is attached to a bodice, like the fit to flair. Great video ❤

You made a little dent in your dress pattern stash there! 😁 I don't wear many dresses, and have gotten just a handful of Big 4 patterns in this time period as I would just have to do so much fiddling with the patterns for fit. One that I have used is the Sew House Seven Simplicity pattern, which I got because it is a skirted version of the Burnside Bibs. I love my chambray version, and I learned that I do like a below-the-knee length if it's an A-line skirt. 😊I did recognize a good number of those patterns, I've got a few older Rebecca Taylor and Anne Klein ones.

Oh my goodness, so many patterns and some of those dress are so lovely. Really like the denim shirtdress type thing. How much more have you got to show us?!

Oh dear! I have just bought the Sew House Seven dress 8231 😂😂 looks like a face pack?! 🤣🤣. Please be kind if I ever do make it! What I do notice is how many designer patterns you have. Simplicity 8874 isn't a great shape on me but it has wonderful tied short sleeves which I have copied and used many times on other dresses. So glad you kept 6619 and I put fish eye darts in the back to shape it and YES I make it so much shorter 😂. Such fun watching you clear out 😘xx

I love hearing what you say about the patterns. I always look at the drawing to judge if I will purchase a pattern or not because you can’t see the seams that style the garment!

You have/had a lot of great patterns, Jen. Love to see what patterns other people have and why they bought them or why they're getting rid of them. I would have kept NL 6094 and let go of B6129 because, IMHO, the NL pattern has more versatility and prettier style dresses. Most of your Vogue patterns are really interesting; very unique. Yes, please make the B5522 and V1223! Great sleeves! If there are any patterns you decided to throw away, you might want to keep the pattern tissue to use as gift wrapping paper for those sewists on your gift list. 😊

Always good to de-stash! I have many of the same that you kept. Just curious when you made this video? It's showing as your "latest" but your watch said February 20. When you de-stash, what do you do with your patterns? Thrift store? Give away? I saw the Vogue 1317 Ralph Rucci and it brought me back to the time when I was DEEP into the wedding business and wanted to make it for myself but...I was so busy making wedding gowns and evening apparel that I passed it up 😪 Thanks for your video! Always motivating me to move out things that I don't need! 😉

LOL I filmed these out of order - so that's why my watch says one thing and the info says another. Good catch!

My husband and I have a joke - "how much do you love me?" when we want the other one to do us a favor. Here's how much I love you: I had a really bad reaction today from an antihistimine and after being in bed all day I've moved to his recliner. After asking him to make coffee in my grandmother's Pyrex percolator (I'm calling out instructions from the other room because he doesn't drink coffee or have any clue as to what he's doing), I had him go find this pattern in my sewing room. It's akin to asking him to find something in my purse. But he did it! I'm more organized than he believes I am. What a guy! I owe him big time now and probably will have to wash the car or take out the trash to repay him. 😂😂😂😂😂 (ok, not really, I'm kidding) So I'm looking at the instructions for the neckline and seeing that it's pretty much a simple facing. But . . . if you made changes to the bodice seams, you have to do the same thing to the facing. If it's another problem, just email me (jenwesner@gmail.com) and we can talk more specifically about it. You can do this!
