I am Japanese living overseas, it's been three years since I went back to Japan last time because of pandemic, the beautiful scenery always makes me feel like coming back to my home.

The positive vibe I receive from your vid may make it possible to get over the national crisis of distinction by sharp declining birth rate. There may be so many Japan ppl who watched your vid and felt that having multiple kids would definitely give us more joy than anxiety likewise myself. Your video will save Japan! Thanks!!!
You capture such beautiful moments with your family, it must be so much fun for you all to look back on your old videos. Thank you for sharing these bright, positive moments of your lives with others! Your videos have blessed me in their hopeful, positive nature. I always look forward to seeing them!

Japan went through a phase several decades ago where they invested a lot in making some great parks. You don't see many new ones around, but the old ones that were made and well maintained are a lot of fun.

You are a wonderful family! The twin girls are beautiful and spontaneous, and the little girl is also beautiful. I hope that the two girls will tell us about the new school and the boy too. I love you. I am from Kuwait (it is an Arab country, so I think you do not know it)❤❤

Kuwait! I've never been there, but thanks so much for watching!
I have a spot I would like to recommend. It is an aquarium called Kamogawa Sea World on the Boso Peninsula in Chiba Prefecture. The highlight is the orca show. It's the perfect event for summer! The schedule of the show varies from day to day, but it is held 2-4 times a day. Check out the video of the KZbin show!

I really love watching your vlogs they are so wholesome! And I love how you manage things with your family! As a multimedia student I always wonder though: whats your workflow from filming to editing like? You must have massive amounts of material to edit, no?
@LIJ2 жыл бұрын
It is a lot of editing. Shooting the video is the fun part! Then comes the importing and organizing footage, getting a rough edit, deciding what will be the episode, editing that down, adding music/sound, finalizing the look and uploading. But not done yet, because then comes the thumbnail, arguably one of the most crucial parts after putting together a good video!
We went to Ōshima Island for Golden Week but it was foggy when we climbed it.

Looks like you guys spent the holidays well! I’m a bit sad to say that my own family in Japan didn’t manage to get out anywhere or do much together this year. The reason? Junior high school club activities. *Japanese cultural point: Family camping trips (events, etc) suddenly lose their priority when your child enters junior high. Usually around the second term of their first year. This is not even an issue of ‘teen attitude’ or anything like that, but they just really don’t want to ‘let down’ the other club members. (Especially in the case of sports clubs. My daughter in on the tennis team.) “But my family will be different”, you say? (Evil laugh…) Anyway,this video brought back some good memories, for sure.
@LIJ2 жыл бұрын
I completely understand! That's why are kids haven't joined clubs here. It's not conducive for our lifestyle where we travel in the summers and prioritize our family through out the week and church on Sundays. Thanks for your comment!
@Jordan-inJapan2 жыл бұрын
@@LIJ That was how I had PLANNED to do things. Good on you for sticking with it!
@LIJ2 жыл бұрын
@@Jordan-inJapan well, we’re in the early phases of figuring it out, but we told the kids they don’t have to do a club if they don’t want to, and trying our best to find good alternatives that are more flexible. Hopefully we can pave the way for other families wanting to do the same.

ライター家の皆さん、こんばんは🤗 As expected, it's a big family. You may not be able to buy so many without Costco. Didn't you travel or return to America during Golden Week? It seemed like I was able to play a lot in a huge park, and it was a fun video today.

We do our big international trips over summer vacation, because you need at least 2 weeks to make them worthwhile. This year we have another big trip planned in the summer.
You love disc golf?! Me too. I looked at UDisc, not many courses around Japan
@LIJ2 жыл бұрын
They're really aren't many courses in Japan, and they're not good. I had some favorite discs here in Japan, but I took them back to the States so I can play with my friends when I'm back there.
