The Municipality of Tel Aviv is planning on renovating it soon while removing most of the modern addition that surrounds the original building from all sides. They'll leave some of it but it'll look fresh and complementary to the original part of the synagogue.

I would to share something to the reader of this blog about a Jewish synagogue 🕍 I visited some years ago in Welligton ,NZ. The Wellington Synagogue was celebrating its 150th year in Wellington. The rabbi of the Wellington synagogue had made an open invation to the people of Wellington to be part of 150th year celebration . My wife & I are not Jewish. My late friend Barry was part of the Wellington City Synagogue The day was warm and sunny. There was not a breath of wind that. There were literally hundreds of visitors at the Synagogue. The rabbi started the celebrations. Just then I could feel a gentle breeze on my face and then a sweet smell of perfume like smell throughout the synagogue.Note : There was no incense burning at the tabernacle. The rabbi brought out the Holy Tora and placed the Holy Tora onto a table. When the rabbi opened the Holy Tora a bright light came out of the Tora. Both my wife & I witnessed this miracle. I firmly believe the Spirt of God can manifest himself in specially built places were He can speak and administer to His people. Shalom. ❤❤
