Very interesting. I visited all these synagogues in 2016. The four sephardic synagogues are so quiet and cozy, that it felt like discovering ancient times….
@IsraelwithDavidHyman2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, the 4 sephardic synagogues are an absolute hidden gem in the Jewish quarter, they are not visited enough and I am glad that I could introduce them on this video. Thanks for watching and for you comments.

There is an Italian old AMAZING Synagogue in the center of Gerusalem, never seen anything like it. They brought the whole Synagogue from Italy. How come you did not show it in your wonderfull tour?
@IsraelwithDavidHyman Жыл бұрын
Hi Nechama, great question. I think the answer is that I focused on the synagogues that are in the old City. the Italian synagogue you have mentioned in New Jerusalem. I will think of a way to include it in one of my future videos.

Great video. I did wonder where the oldest shul was in Jerusalem.. so now I know. Actually the shuls are very disappointing not much to see and not welcoming, only some old crumbling buildings the best bits are the imported elements. Is Jewish life dying in Jerusalem’s old city? When I was there in Jerusalem I couldn’t find shuls.. it was as if they were all hidden away.

Hi Albert, I am not sure. I know that in Jerusalem we have a Nisim Behar street, it is near Machne Yehudah market. You should look there.

There is no 1 Massiha its משיח = from conversation- and you need AT LEAST 2 people for that. Time to wake up and start the conversation for peace love and a better world for everyone
@IsraelwithDavidHyman7 ай бұрын
Not correct. Masiah if from the Hebrew word. משיח which means "The anointed One". and has nothing to do with conversation.

@@IsraelwithDavidHyman Maybe its juts my wishful thinking + the thought that Judaism holds actual wisdom rather than only fairy tail nonsense . And this belief is not in the bible in terms of a one ultimate Messiah (but rather every generation may have kings and prophets) and is actually AGAINST Judaism in my view by the way -- read the second commandment. but think about the fact that all that matters is that little dot next to the ש and the hole story is changed. And that people who do not speak Hebrew cannot know this. So I feel that its my obligation to share this THOUGHT of mine. You know that things did get lost in history right? Somehow in this world i find that things are exactly the opposite of what they say -- EXACTLY the opposite..
