When i tried this, the bulgarians didn't join the balkan war but they got all of macedonia for some reason. Then during ww1 the ottomans joined the entente and for some reason even though i joined the central powers and we won, they annexed cyrpus and not me.

27:13 the ai decommissions all of the templates it feels it doesn’t need, you can get them back by ticking the box at the top of your templates tab and clicking the dot on the right of the templates you want back. Splitting the army is just stupid ai logic, I don’t know why it does it.

The limitations of this mod are, horrible Some nations, definitely minor ones. Are WAY too attached to historical or near-historical games happening, mostly in Europe. Like Kuwait for example basically requires a historic game for Britain. And here we can see it again for Eastern Rome While this mod is definitely good. It needs ALOT of reworks on how it functions as the licking of historical boots is insane Oh and if you want another horrible example. Forming Yugoslavia as Serbia literally requires a certain guy to be the King of Albania. Devs said this was meant to be bypassed but like it wasn't for me so. If they haven't fixed it already, though luck

The dev who worked on Greece was absolutely dedicated to getting it right. Both for the good but also sadly for the bad as well. But hey Kris, if you'd like to play a less frustrating machinic play through of the great war Redux, I'd recommend Bulgaria in to Byzantium. In which not only you can form Eastern Rome, but as well as Eastern Rome in it's Entirety, I'm talking Anatolia, the levant, Egypt, and even the Balkans of course. But in order to treat this horrific illness known as bad mod design, I'd recommend stepping away from this mod for a few videos perhaps. I'm surprised you held on as long as you to be honest.

Millenium dawn did it better. There theres a mechanic to offer a ceasefire where you get to keep whatever you conquered. It is a bit silly though because i played nazi germany, attacked nato, conquered europe and started invading usa, offered a ceasefire because the lines in the usa weren't moving and i didn't care about taking them over, but it left all of nato independent.

you should had just played kaiserredux byzantium/socialist path which at first you're monarchist until 4 or 5 years later in the game where you get couped by socialists and get an insane 0.02% compliance growth rate+35% less consumer goods and there's also no power struggle. you can also reclaim the west and form the actual roman empire and core everything
