One thing I never understood is: Sometimes in rush hour like 17:00 pm you get 2 tiny overcrowded carriages in Norwich , with nowhere to stand let aone sit, and then in the middle of the day along comes this deisel hauling 10 carriages - when there are about 20 people altogether waiting in Yarmouth. Obviously I'm missing something. Love the ride though.

Thanks for your comments the whole idea of the Saturday Yarmouth through trains from London was to give people from the south direct service to Yarmouth in the summer back in the 80/ early 90's there where through trains from Birmingham ,Derby and other places in the Midlands how long the present through trains last is questionable my thoughts

Are they running the drags again this year? Sorry, am a little out-of-touch with rail movements recently, but am looking to expand my railway filming video library...

Hi the drags are running but the last few weeks they have had 47' s failures and cancellation due to using the 47's for short sets for DMU shortage best check Anglia Gen to see what is happening also the times are on this Anglia Gen Link 132068 Re: Yarmouth drags

Thank you for your comment but the drags don't run anymore at the moment there is a short set running most week days top and tailed by DRS 37's from Norwich to Yarmouth and to Lowestoft

mscangliarail yeah I've been on the 37 short set a total of 5 times, love it!
