Superb video about one of my favourite games of all time. I was playing online the day the official servers were closed too, sad times :( I wish to this day that the story of this game was what the AvP movies adapted. But we will always have this game. Stay frosty marines

So it's actually an unreleased song by Mick Gordon for DOOM Eternal, it was featured in the showcase for Super Gore Nest when it was originally announced but never made the final game. I got it from a livestream where Gordon was showing some of the behind the scenes for the games music, though the archive has since been deleted. 2001 was an excellent year for FPS games FPS games on both consoles and pc. We got: Halo CE, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Aliens Vs Predator 2, Red Faction, Operation Flashpoint Cold War Crisis, and Ghost Recon in one year. AVP2 is still my favorite of the franchise and favorite Aliens game. Man I wish it'd get remastered for both current consoles and pc.

man.. i had a lot of pcs in my life and all of them have 1 thing in common, they had AVP 2 (at one point i also had avp classic) i really loved this game and the avp series in general, it was my first look into such cool sci fi, it really saddens me that more wasnt done sense it might as well be my entire childhood but i am thankful for what we have currently

I remember playing this game a long time ago, shame that every time I try to play it these days it has at least one issue that makes it unplayable (very low stretched FOV, extremely small mouse sensitivity, running at 5x speed, etc), definitely deserves a remaster.

Really cool game. Nice video too. Some parts reminded me of Civvie-11's video style. I am also much to young to know anything about this game, born in '04. But I can see a bunch of similarities to a game I personally played growing up called Alien Vs. Predator(2010) I played the Hell out of it back on my PS3. I never touched the Marine campaign. Too spooky for a 6 to 7 year old. But I did try the Alien campaign, I thought it was pretty confusing(would get disoriented because of the ability to stick to any wall.), and required some stealth. I did beat it once. But I primarily played the Predator campaign. Loved that. The Predators were my favorite as a Kid. I loved the movies too, still do! Probably something a kid shouldn't have watched or played, but too late now! Anyways. Thought I would mention this, as that game; the one that came out in 2010 is very similar to this one, at least the Alien portion so far. I'll finish the video and see if the Predator portion is also similar. Yeah. The Predator section is pretty similar too. But, even though this game is similar the other is still pretty different. Thankfully.
