A 2D fighter with pixel art graphics with the power of consoles now would be amazing. It'd be a safe way to bring the characters together and make it possible to have a well developed roster. Who cares if it isn't 3D, charm and functionality goes past that.

This game is from 2006? That's crazy, it looks so cool and fun. The character models are pretty good, it has items, supers and a pretty interesting victory condition different from the typical stock system in platform fighters. The roster is also pretty decent as well. It'd be awesome if they made a new version of this game with an updated roster and maybe more Shonen Jump franchises.
