This game gets even more interesting when you dive into the Detroit Techno licensing tied to the soundtrack that’s a rarity in itself. Because if you know who these artists are and what they represent this game holds a special place in gaming history.

The soundtrack still moves me every time I hear it. I know some people say it’s out of place but to me it’s absolutely perfect.

G to the Next Level It’s one of the main reasons i brought the game back because i had read some article that they were chosen to do the soundtrack. You can buy on Discogs or find the release here on KZbin it’s called “Megatech Body” CD which can cost 60 dollars and upwards in good condition.

I remember renting this a few times back around the time it came out. I enjoyed it, but I didn't get into it enough to go out and buy it. Watching this video makes me want to revisit it though!

You really should! After making this video I managed to 1CC it on normal. I was addicted to it when I was younger and still feels so good to play it today.

I had this but it got disc rot, at which point I reverted back to cartridge based games, and pretty much gave up on the CD format, I've never had an issue with cart's other than the obvious battery death which is a quick fix even for an amateur with a soldering iron, not sure what causes it, but I look after my stuff so it's not that, anyway great video G, have a great day.

Thanks, 9EG. Thankfully I haven’t been a victim of disc rot yet and hopefully I won’t but that sucks that happened to you.

Had a real history with this one, remember playing a demo for it when I was very young but only recently knowing what the game was even called. Managed to grab a copy after hunting ebay for a good price and loved it for all the reasons you mention. Fantastic look at this one, giving me an itch to go back and have another run through :D

A remaster of this with the addition of analog stick control would be so bad ass. Guess I am lucky to even own a copy.

Hey G! Cracking vid ma friend on a game I've been wanting for ages, loved the movies, got loads of artwork books and the tv series rocked too so naturally I am wanting this game pretty bad lol thanks for the review and can't wait to get me paws on a copy at some point 🤟👍😁

I did like the live-action movie as well and the dislike to Scarlett Johansson over her getting the role of The Major was, to be honest, overblown. I like the live-action movie but it ain't no masterpiece like Alita is. I felt like that the story could've used some patching to make it work a lot better. The intro to the game is intense and animated very well, the best high-quality animation I've seen in an intro to a game.
@GtotheNextLevel3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I thought it was decent at least but it definitely didn't deserve the hate that it got. Reminds me a lot of Balan Wonderworld, heh.

@@GtotheNextLevel I don't mind going back and watching the anime or live-action movie every once in a while because it is still an amazing experience to watch the cyber world in the movie.
