You should put a solo together with the three kings. BB, Albert and Freddy King. The reason why is because SRV stole 90% of Albert Kings playing. But I still loved what he did. Great lesson non the less. Thanks for keeping the legend's alive. Peace... Joe

When does blues songs use the bII chord? try to make a lesson about when to use the bII chord in blue or rock music

It's pretty rare, more a jazzy thing, you will occasionally see it in blues tunes with a jazzy feel.

@@waynegram8907 You could use it as a chromatic chord (stormy monday does this) or you could use it as a tritone sub for the V chord.

@@timdaleybluesguitar101 yes Classical Composers and Blues use the bII as a Tritone Sub or as a PRE-Dominant chord. I'm not sure what other ways of using the bII which you can make a video on showing examples of blues songs using it that you know of.
