I plan to take inspiration from Yuriko ninjas as a draw engine and Jetmir rundown with stax effects to slow the game down.

44:00 Jan, holding onto Praetor's Grasp because of the Opposition agent isn't actually relevant. Opposition agent jumps in when an opponent is searching their own library, but since Grasp has you search an opponent's library (not your own) Opp Agent doesn't get in the middle.

Question, for Archivist of Oghma, it says "whan an opponent searches 'their' library, you gain 1 and draw a card. Does that still Activate if and opponent is instead searching Another Players library?

No it doesn’t. I believe they made a misplay. Archivist does not trigger when an opponent searches another players library. They have to search THEIR OWN library. So archivist does not trigger at all.

Correction to my earlier comment: I made a mistake. I did some research, apparently it still triggers on Opposition agent. Because even though you are controlling, they are still searching the library. It’s not a replacement effect that makes you do the searching for them. Sorry for the confusion 😅

Phantasmal Image doesn't have an ETB trigger -- it copies as a replacement effect that modifies how it enters the battlefield.

It's shocking how people don't treat Rhystic Study like a Sphere of Resistance. Crim won the game solely off of that Rhystic Study (and some nice politics and tight play, of course), it baffles me that people aren't willing to tutor removal for it. In such cases it is always most sensible to target the (mono) black, and particularly Krrik player first - they are most likely to use life as a resource. And depleting the enemy of resources is kinda the goal, particularly in high end EDH.

The ninja used to bounce gilded drake had a combat damage trigger to bounce the oppo agent. It got kinda glossed over in the conversation, but that's why it got bounced as well.
