1:58:02 I had to slow it to 0.25 speed because of the damn speed up, but sceptile didn't outspeed, minior went first and missed stone edge. Minior is base 120 speed with a +2 boost, even timid eleki needs a ton of speed EVs and IVs to outspeed neutral nature minior.

I’m only a few minutes in so, potential scrub comment if you already do this, but if it’s useful to anyone- remember to abuse the fuck out of your surf encounters if you unlocked Surf- you get the same two encounters (always water types) in every route with surfable water so you essentially get an infinite supply of whatever those two mons are. One run gave me infinite mudkips (i.e. swamperts) and another gave me Pyukumuku which actually nearly fucking won me the whole run on its back, the lil stall cuke fucking owns the stupid AI with toxic/recover/soak shenanigans. And you can sack them without much pain bc you can most likely get another one, you would just lose any TM or tutor moves but a sunk cost is better than irreplaceable mon lol. I was also lucky to get a Honedge at one point and then caught in safari xone to use as a starter and bought a dusk stone at the hub to take with = guaranteed Aegislash who is broken as F U CK. The AI can’t deal with king’s shield for shit and i cheesed out a win on Rainbow mode (all types can be bosses) on my second try w/ it. Also caught a fuckton of legendaries that run. Regenerator Ho Oh is broken as dicks and paired super well w/ Aegi.

I was randomly given a mew for completing a quest, not sure which one, but if you happen to have it, you should take some mints and take mew to the safari zone and anyone you catch will have its nature. Saves you time and money. Other synchronize mons can do this but I think mew is the best partner to have, since you can change its nature to catch whatever you want and change it back during an adventure. On top of that, it's just really fucking good.
