Ronaldo is 39 now and was just the global top scorer of 2023 which is insane to put into perspective. We're so lucky to have witnessed the two greats of all time being rivals at the same time. Ronaldo currently has the most goals scored in history (877) and 9th most assists ever Messi is second place for most goals scored and 3rd most assists of all time Messi has the most trophies and Ballon D'ors (MVP for basketball) in History Ronaldo is the more versatile player in my opinion however. Top scorer in 3 of the best leagues. 100+ goals in 4 different teams and he had to switch his playstyle in 2014 because of a career altering injury, going from a dribbling winger to a striker. Despite this, he ended up becoming the best striker in the world and highest goalscorer of all time. Both are Goats
