First, sorry for my poor English. There is a reason why we do that. J-League supporters have an aspect that has developed from local volunteers. Unlike the European teams, we didn't have enough money. It's better to do the cleaning ourselves than leave it to the professional service. We take the financial condition of the team as our own matter. That's why cleaning naturally became a habit. We don't think we're doing anything outrageous. Just doing it out of habit. @@timdev615 Japan dominated the match in the 1st half, in the second half it was a balanced game, Japan even with a less valuable squad than Croatia made great achievements in this WC, not to mention their charming fans who did not stop 1 minute of singing and taking vibrations to the team. Unfortunately the players were anxious when it came to taking the penalties and this led to the defeat (but of course that's just my opinion, wanted to see them in the quarterfinals as they've never reached one before).

From the mid-1990s, Japanese supporters began waving blue rubbish bags around to cheer on their team. This is to make it look like there are more supporters as they are the same colour as the uniforms, and this type of cheering can be seen similar to Japanese baseball cheering. Eventually, they started to use the rubbish bags the way they were supposed to be used on the way home. For some reason this has been well reported in recent years, ,but especially the more dedicated fans who travel out of Japan to support the team will continue this practice. Many Japanese, including myself, did not expect to win so much, thank you for your support.
