How u doing Guys ?? Why are you guys hesisating in calling Novak the ' Goat ' ?? Most Grand Slams , Most 1000 Atp Masters , Most weeks at No 1, Most Year end No. 1 , Tied with Federer with most Atp Year end Titles and He has a better H2H Record against both his great Rivals I.e. Nadal and Federer , he is the first player to win consecutive 4 slams in a row in the open era , 1st player to win all the slams atleast 3 times and the only player to win all the masters 1000 titles twice. What more do you want ?? How do you Compete with that ?? He has all the records. Like him or not, you cannot deny his achievements. Its absolutely mind boggling. He is the undisputed " Goat' as of now until someone comes up and breaks all his records .

"Some statistics" in the GOAT debate have Federer or Nadal in the lead, really?? Which one(s), do tell. The only notable GOAT debate stat where Djokovic isn't ahead now is total titles, which btw none of the Big 3 leads: Connors has 109 titles in 24 yrs and Federer has 103 titles in 24 yrs; Djokovic has 94 titles but has played 4 fewer yrs than those two as of now, so we'll see where he's at in 4 yrs.

It's the smaller stats, like Nadal Olympic Gold and Federer consecutive weeks. But Djokovic is the undisputed best.

I’m tired of these ‘Coulda, woulda, shoulda’ arguments with analysts elevating Roger and Rafa while negating Novak’s achievements. ‘Well, if Nadal didn’t have so many injuries in his career he’d have more slams etc etc’ Fine. Two can play at this game. If Novak hadn’t been deported in AO, defaulted at the US, have his strongest events cancelled (wimby 2020), banned from ranking tournaments and the entire US swing, (including the US Open last year) he’d be on more slams. He’d almost certainly have finished the year as the number 1 for a record 8th year in 2022 without being robbed of his ranking points and banned from tournaments. We can all make excuses and seems as no one wants to defend Novak from these very obvious obstacles then Rafa and Roger don’t get any leeway either. Facts don’t care about your feelings. Novak is the GOAT.

Very good points made! As an all-round player on all surfaces, it's hard to argue against Novak being the GOAT. But I think this is where fans have different opinions on what defines 'greatness'. B

@@gettingagriptennis Hence why for GOAT debates opinions should be left out as much as possible, bc those bring in biases and not set, established criteria. But as I said, one of you mentioned "some statistics" being in Fedal's favor in the GOAT debate, and since I respectfully disagree, I would like to know what that was referring to. Yes, "some opinions on what defines 'greatness'" can be in their favor, but actual stats? Another reply mentioned Nadal's gold and Fed's consecutive wks at #1, but those are so minor in comparison: how can Nadal's gold override the fact that he has zero ATP Finals wins, vs Djokovic's and Federer's 6, besides the fact that the Olympics have much weaker draws to navigate than ATP Finals?? And if one wants to argue Fed's consecutive #1 wks, then how does one discard/ignore Djokovic's total #1 wks being way ahead of Fed at this point? Then there's the fact that without COVID coming out of nowhere during Djokovic's reign at #1, he certainly would've had many more consecutive wks at #1 himself.

The ONLY SIGNIFICANT record ROGER holds atm (ahead of NOVAK) is the most titles 103 to Novak's 94 The ONLY SIGNIFICANT record RAFA holds atm against NOVAK is the OLYMPIC GOLD... So I don't really get where are your "other" records and "sharing the stage" come from?? NOVAK has the following: > Most Slams (23) > Most weeks at no.1 (388 and counting) > Most YEAR-END no.1 (7 years) > Most Masters 1000 (38) > GOLDEN MASTERS (winning ALL 9 MASTERS 1000 and he did it twice) > Head2Head record against the 2 > THE 2nd PLAYER in the open era after Rod Laver to hold ALL 4 slams at the same time (NOVAK: Wimbledon 2015 to Roland Garros 2016) and a ton of other records like most atp points ever earned; Novak is the ONLY male player with the most years winning 2 or more slam every year (7 times, Rafa and Roger at 6) STOP WITH THE BULLSH*T.

@@expoundamus ROGER is ahead on WImbledon is like NOVAK is ahead on AO, NOT necessarily a RECORD... and if we're talking about Wimby, NOVAK is 7-8 on Wimbledon finals while ROGER is 8-12 in finals, and the 3 of the losses FED had on Wimby, were all from NOVAK (NOVAK is 3-0 against FED in Wimbledon Finals..

Why do you and other people say the big 4? Murray isnt even in the same ball park as the other 3. And if you say big 4 you should say big 5 since Wawrinka has as many GS titels.

was thinking the same thing. I figured they are putting Andy Murray in the mix because the guy on the left seems to have a crush on him. Which automatically should make it big 5 with Stan The Man. Because 23 ,22, and 20 is a whole lot more than 3... Probably Big 3 and Not so Big 2 is more appropriate.

Thanks for watching! Merlin wants to put Murray into the Big 4 because he consistently went deep in the Slams and Masters, as well as got to number 1 during that era- Stan did not show that level as regularly. I do have a hard time putting him in with the Big 3 though! B

The 2022 Madrid meeting between Novak and Carlos was not telling since Novak was not yet in good form. He had not played tennis from November 2021 until March 2022, so he was very rusty.

Alll of the significant and important stats are in Djokovic's favor. Let's also get something straight. There is no big 4. There is only a big 3. Andy Murray does not even belong in the same breath with Djokovic, Federer, and Nadal. As for Murray, he has no shot.

The years Djokovic lost the French Open final were 2012 (Nadal) 2014 (Nadal) 2016 (Wawrinka) and 2020 (Nadal)

The debate is over Novak is the GOAT. The most important records Novak already has and he's not done yet.There is no statistical argument left period.
