After editing and writing this, I have to say that Mbappe is the best player in the world right now. He single-handedly made that game so difficult for Messi. What a remarkable player.

as an argentinean, all i can say is that Messi's story with the NT is the story of argentina in general. God gave us incredible resources and terrible administrators for said resources. Messi never failed us, we just spent over a decade failing him, putting him in poorly thought out teams and giving him coaches who couldn't exploit his potential like Pep or Scaloni would. And of course, being the tribalistic collectivist society that we are, we got mad at the one person who could take it, rather than the failing system around him.

Almost 2 packs of cigarettes and a whole tub of cream assisted me shitting my pants during this game as well. It was bloody terrifying until Montiel's kick. I smile just thinking about that moment and how I felt during it. It's definitely the greatest football match I've seen. The story, the characters, the entire thing was a gift from football itself to it's Messiah and us, the devotees. Muchas gracias por todo Leo. I fkin love you.

The best thing about that game for me is seeing him win it. Because to me, he is the GOAT, The God of Football and just light years ahead of everyone else with or without the World Cup. But he wanted it so bad and boy did he win it in style. 35 years old, yet he plays like he's in his prime. That's the level of insanity Leo operates on. We will never ever see another Lionel Messi. The 2022 World Cup final was an absolutely thrilling match, filled with intense moments that had my heart racing. Mbappe's performance nearly gave me three heart attacks, and I genuinely believed it was all over for Leo. However, Emilian Martinez's impressive saves turned the tide, saving the day for his team, and I must say, great job on the content as well!

Amazing video as always. But just missed the 2nd most vital match for Argentina after Netherlands which is the group stage against mexico. Where Argentina was on the verge of exit if not for a messi wonder goal in the 60th minute. Great work! Loved it!
