When you're recording a tribute album with 30 Danzig songs it ain't easy to avoid songs about death. But we are pleased to announced that this is the last Danzig song with "die", "death" or "blood" in the title. The last 10 songs on Danzigology (the finest tribute album in the world) are about rainbows, butterflies and friendship. So here it is, "Going Down To Die" performed by Ana and Macy, Danzig cover #20 of 30...the last song about death.

Wow. Its as if you saved the best for last. The vocalist and musician uncover in this song something so powerful you will feel it long after you hear it. But who handles all these incredible arrangements? Never in a million years did I imagine this song ever being performed this way, and I've listened to the original a hundred times. This arrangement is simply brilliant. It reinvents the song in away that practically makes it original, again. And that's a real tribute to Danzig, because it means the underlying material is so resonate and substantial that it gives many layers for people to discover for themselves. Thanks for this. I hope more discover it like I did.

My favorite band. Saw them Halloween 2018 at the Fillmore in Denver for the 30th Anniversary tour. Macy, you absolutely owned this song. Glenn has a way of writing songs that suit other artists perfectly. Like "Thirteen" for Johnny Cash, or "Mother" for Lissie. This one, in my opinion, is now yours.
