I feel Borussia Dortmund are one club who deserve a shit ton of money and absolute crazy investors like the ones in City and PSG because they deserve it. They're a real working man's club and they have an exceptional youth system and are easily in the top 10 clubs in the world but the one thing they lack is financial prowess. They have the fans the passion the talent all they need is that extra push in the correct direction (money) and they're sure to be one of Europe's elites. Money will prevent big name players from leaving and big named and big talents will want to stay. The fans deserve it and the club does to. There is so much potential and we can easily become Bayern's level or maybe even greater.

I would merge MLS with the A-League. Two Leagues that have been able to attract quality players past the age of around 34 and even slightly lower I would say. Best individual performance I have seen is probably Diego Forlan throughout the 2010 World Cup for Uruguay. He was just amazing in that Tournament and rightly deserved the Player of the Tournament award over David Villa and Wesley Sneijer who were also great as well. Best team to have never won the Champions League imo is that amazing Valencia team of the early 2000's. Twice they made the Champions League Final in 2000 and 2001 under Hector Cuper. The first time got thrashed 3-0 by rivals Real Madrid but the second time got unlucky against Ottmar Hittzfeld's Bayern Munich. They were able to keep the game at 1-1 throughout the 120 minutes and unfortunately just lost in the penalty shootout.

although some of my favourite players of all time are Dutch, the ones you send abroad these days score like 30+ goals in Eredivisie and then do nothing abroad (Afonso Alves - 45 in 39 for Heerenveen, 10 in 42 for Boro; Memphis Depay - 39 in 90 for PSV, 2 in 33 for United; Mateja Kezman - 105 in 122 for PSV, 4 in 25 for Chelsea; and Andy Van Der Meyde, though not a scorer, was also very poor upon arriving in England). there are of course notable exceptions such as Luis Suarez, Van Nistelrooy, Bergkamp (my all time favourite) and more, and of course Dutch players have thrived in leagues around the world. but I wouldn't say they produce any more or higher quality players than the other countries. more importantly, my point is that just because players thrive in Eredivisie, does not mean it is a strong league - especially as many find life outside Holland much more difficult
