Lucy Thomas is absolutely, mesmerizingly wonderful! I love not only the way she uses her God-given vocal tools to express a song, but also the way she uses her lovely eyes, facial expressions, and body language to "feel" and interpret the song's message. She's not only a singer but also a true performer! She will be starring and singing in 2024 at London's West End Theatre in a musical she and playwright Chris Broom co-wrote called "Rosie."

Lucy is yet undiscovered by many people which is a bit of a shame because she is head and shoulders above the rest of the new crop. Lucy is truly a phenomenal young woman in more ways than one. I can't say enough good things about her.

George, I agree 100%! Lucy (and Martha) are very professional, classy, and mature way beyond their years! They are perfectionists who want to put out the best performance every time! To have a play, "Rosie", premier at the West End Theater in London next year shows us that Lucy is at the top of all artists right now! The West End Theater has a reputation, prestige, and heritage over many centuries that they want to portray and they see what all of us hard-core fans already know: they will be blown away when this play is a masterpiece!

How does she go so high n still control her breath - yes I know it’s her training BUT… she can still bring that high pitch to a soft smooth ending! WOW! We are blessed to be alive in Lucy’s time! If you want to explore her growth I have two suggestions. Twice she has recorded the same song twice. If your up to a two song show. At 10 she did Run, she redid it at 15. On the talent show she did Moon River at 14, she redid that at 18. Both of these are about 2 mins. All of these are Lucy quality. From best to better to OMG!!!

Hi ya Dennis - love your covers and how you are surprised at some of the ways Lucy takes a song and makes it her own. Once again, she is crystal clear on her high notes with rich lower notes. I think Lucy does not sing to us, does not sing the words; she emotes the feelings behind the lyrics of the song. Of course, it helps that her voice and delivery are excellent. Lucy leaves us speechless and emotionally rung out. This is Lucy Thomas.

Released in 2019 another well known song that Lucy covered was " Let IT Go " from the cartoon film "Frozen". When I first heard her sing this I thought she had sung the original in the film and I think it is well worth reacting to.

Hey Dennis, I saw this pop up again n I couldn’t resist to listen to her again. YOU TOOK THE WORDS OUT OF MY MOUTH!- Lucy is LIVING THE SONG! Amazing. Have u ever seen the movie-( the way we were) , mid 70’s starring Robert Redford n Barbara Streisand , a movie about love. Relationships n memories. If u see the movie you will really appreciate this song even more. DAMM! Lucy nailed this song like no other! I love your excitement re her talent but oh my, her voice is just out of this world. Lucy is incredible. You did a great review of her you mentioned going back and listening to some of her old music I have a couple of suggestions. "Listen " from (Dreamgirls) she did bthis at 14 years of age . "she used to be mine" from (the waitress ) at around the same age there is one of her singing "Footprints in the sand " at the age of 10 and 17. And then there is "All by myself" at about 17.hope this helps 🤩🤩

What may really shock you or the listeners’ ears is when you hear Lucy speaking with her distinct British accent. It makes it more amazing how she sings all these songs so well. There is a song from “Rosie” called One Day that Lucy sang at a very young age and the accent comes through. Check out her brief interviews before some shows she has performed on to hear it. (I have not heard Martha nor her mother speak yet)

It`s really an English accent rather than a British accent. I know some people, particularly from across the pond ,mix these two words together as if they are the same. British includes Scottish, Welsh and Northern Ireland, and all of these places have very different accents and cultures.
