I don’t care if it was first round, that series was as exciting as anything I’ve ever seen in the playoffs. 7 OTs, 5 games within a few points, and game 7 was close right up until the last couple minutes. So many big shots, D-rose playoff debut, Ray Allen being insane. It was so good

This was my favorite series of all time. Im a huge Ray Allen fan and this series showed how fuckin good of a player he was and what he could do with a bigger role. For me, it showed us 1. How big of a role downgrade it takes for three stars to come together, 2 how good Rajon Rondo was and 3. How good the Bulls were gonna be and 4. How good a coach Doc was. I remember seeing this live and loved every minute of the back and forth, the overtime after overtime and the big shots after big shots from both sides.

11:05 in 2015 this actually happened except that the Bulls were an 8th seed and the Celtics were the 1st. And weirdly enough, Rondo was the only player from that 2009 series that was in the 2017 series...but as a Bull
