Joshua, at the end of this game grown men were standing all over the stadium weeping, hugging each other...your dad's play was the final nail in the coffin for CAL. The consecutive season losing streak was over. You just can't imagine the emotion that was represented in this feat. Certainly it is nothing compared to losing your father, but it is still etched in my memory like it was yesterday. A popular play in that era was the inside flanker screen. Your dad was the best linebacker I ever saw at sniffing that out, taking on the receiver and often tackling him for a loss. After a while no one ran that play against the Beavers.

Mitch Meeuwsen should be in here for his fumble recovery from 2001 vs WSU (that if I remember, he caused and...) he pitch forked (one handed) one a dead sprint for a TD! An absolutely unbelievable play! The most athletic play I have ever seen in my life to this day (as a player /coach or fan)!
