This and when that lady at the lodge from the low stakes tables decided to fill an empty seat on the lodge live stream high stakes table and she drew out basically her entire bank account to min buy, and steam rolled everyone for the first hour (but sadly lost near the end, but doug did her a solid and comped her iirc) are two of the most heart-warming moments in poker tbh. The entire stream were rooting for her.

I've won a few poker tournaments at Foxwoods, so I'm at least decent, but I played penny ante poker with my girlfriend's family, and her grandma destroyed me. Every time I had top pair top kicker she had two-pair, and when I had a straight she had a flush, and when I had a flush she had full house. It just kept happening over and over again. I still had a lot of fun, and couldn't have wished for a better night of poker.

I honestly wouldn’t feel bad losing to her. I took my mother to Vegas and we were playing blackjack. I was playing textbook strategy and losing. She was making crazy bets, and then catching great cards. Then she’d ask me what should she do. I told her, don’t ask me! You’re winning, I’m not! Just keep doing what you’re doing. Even the dealer was helping her. 😂
