looks like it. and he makes it totally obvious of his shots after lol. looks like his lips said nine ball before making the shot wasnt very hearable but its gotta be loud in there, it was obvious he was aiming for the combo theres no other shot he could have been going for. i had someone during league pull that on me last week, he was probably trying to get me riled up to try and throw me off my game.

Problem is luna has been known to shark people like this, and after the reff said yea he said it I checked the tapes Luna still contested it (because he was getting stomped) Not to mention it's clear as day what shot he was taking, even the announcers called it b4 he got down on the shot. I don't know if something similar exist in pool but if not then perhaps they should introduce it, so that the referee, both players and fans cannot dispute matters if everyone hears the referee repeat the call.

💥For those of you that are saying he doesn't have to call the shot because it's an obvious shot. Here is the written rule on a combo shot in this tournament hope this helps 👇 6.0 CONTINUING PLAY - CALL POCKET On the shot immediately following a legal break and/or a Push Out, the shooting player must contact the lowest numbered ball on the table or it is a foul. Unlike 9-Ball, 10-Ball is a “Call Pocket” game and the shooter is encouraged to specify all balls along with their intended pocket. However, obvious balls and their respective pockets do not have to be specified. Any bank shot (object ball to rail), kick shot (rail(s) to object ball), or combinations (2 or more balls) must be called to their designated pocket, or they are considered a miss. When a player successfully pockets the designated object balls, they continue their inning until either a miss, foul, or win occurs.

The grandstanding did not help after he got the call in his favor. I've had moments like this. they hook me and grandstand on the safety. I get out and pot the ball anyway, and that usually shuts them up. Let your game do your talking.

It's pretty hard to "shut them up" when it was the ref that brought it up.
@michaelmcdonald67942 ай бұрын
@@dustinp26 Actually, I was just referring to the reaction on Immonen's part after the calling went his way. He boasted a bit there towards De Luna. That set off De Luna. It spiraled from there. It might not have been as drama laden if Mika just shot on...IMO
@michaelmcdonald67942 ай бұрын
@@dustinp26 Regarding the shot... it was the obvious shot. I would not have stood up. I would let the ref and player fight it out. Then go with however the final call goes. If I was De Luna. @@dustinp26 You have that backwards. You missed my original point. My first comment was not aimed at the shot nor the call by the ref. Poor sportsmanship is no stranger to modern sports Reyes probably would have just let him have the turn (well maybe not...he'd made sure he called the 9 ball loud enough for De Luna to hear it) Mika should have just let the ref settle it

i can see where Mika is coming from with this its clear as day he is shooting a combo here no doubt I think what he's really upset about here is the fact that he feels de Luna knows he's shooting the combo its a obvious as obvious can be and then to jump up like he did was what Mika was mad about and then to go complain about weather its valid or not is kind of ridiculous because de Luna knew he was shooting the combo honestly say Mika's reaction uncalled for but Jeffery trying to skate by with a rule book is also classless

Imminent is a poor sport athlete. First off, it wasn’t Mr.De Luna who called out the foul it was the referee according to the video. It was extremely immature for Immonen to bark out at Jeffrey. Agreed Mika did mouth “9 ball” however it looked like he was talking to himself. I believe when calling a ball shot it must be officially heard because I’ve seen and heard people losing to huge 8 ball pool game and the shooter thought of being funny and called the last ball “great ball corner pocket” he won the game for 5 minutes than the referee and person in charge reverse the call because his aponent contested against the shooter for not calling exactly the “8 ball”.
