The intention of this video is to highlight that the most overpower aspect to the HRE is the lack of relation slots for member vassals and the lack of combined liberty desire. As you can see these are tied to Proclaim not revoke. Both options are strong and viable however I feel this is much lesser known.

Now that's a ton of princes, the most I ever had was something around 280 and that was a pain in the behind. Also not a good idea because my PC ain't the best.

Was the lambda revoke for the world record something like 500 tags? I'm sure he can get 824 in the HRE. Could take a few runs lol.

You could also knock out the Atwix legacy achievement real easy during this by placing dynasty on some thrones and then releasing isolated princes to declare on later so no one snatches them up before the truce is over

hmm... welp, i already have that achievement and I was veeeery close a couple of times to get it even faster: 1.Bohemia, 2.Hungary, 3.Milan, 4.Castile, 5.Aragon, 6. Navarre ( Naples is possible too, if timed right.), 7.Bavaria(worked more then i should've for this one) , 8.Poland, 9. Lithuania(if Poland chooses Jagiellon), 10. Burgundy. Since Burgundy usually gets integrated within 5 years. once it happened in 3 months xD let's not count them. Then there's also the Habsburg "luck": i managed to get my Dysnasty on Brandenburg's throne and after, it spread to Ansbach and Bayreuth. and got 3 more PUs off that. it was around 1550s~ when i completed the achievement. Burgundy got integrated right as i was about to finish my Castile Unification war. Otherwise i would've waited for them to get Naples too.

@@Shadow.24772 Forming Sardinia-Piedmont as Austria is perhaps the easiest way to get it, because you get 5 restoration of union CBs from their missions (Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, Naples and France). Of course you can release those tags if they don't exist before clicking the missions.

So, Proclaim Erbkaisertum is a manual, slow but powerful Revoke the Privilegia.

I just did this a few days ago was trying to do the zoroaustrians achivement and noticed this little trick... It was so glorious 😂

Hi, thank you very much for all your informative EUIV-Videos. I am convinced there is as much to learn about this game, as it is to learn about a language - maybe i miss-skilled there. Anyway, it was a fun ride. I have an offtopic question for you concerning court-ideas: finishing the ideagroup grants monarch +1 diploskill. Does that mean, that any monarch or ruler get +1 diplo points per month? If so, is it just calculated and the ruler spawns with 1 more skillpoint? I didnt find any info in the game and the forums as how this one skillpoint is embedded in the game. If it is how I understood it - court might be insane with +1 diplo per month for the whole session!

I like to do that a lot. In VH game even mid nations like Brandenburg are likely to oppose revoke due to economic factors (dev basicly, also let's say one's starting nation was other than austria with it's ability to timely enforce/revoke..., it may also be relevant as brandenburg itself later if trying to revoke as non-catholic emperor - or any other polity for that matter). Moreover i don't really care for the vassal swarm thing in my hre emperor games (if anything it is more of a nuisssance than asset - quality of life wise it is atrocious due to all the normal non-separatist rebels they get , but also many times it spoils ticking warscore from won battles in certain casus belli) but rather the ability to assign land to my vassals to core (and that gets really insanely strong late game with client state hre vassals...only can imagine the olden days when one could create hre vassals outside europe😂)...therefore in casual game proclaim is must, revoke is just a step to wc ( sometimes need to dismantle some princes via release nation, return core just to have them accept revoke without ae malus - and yes - they can reject and easily be conquered later😂 but it feels different Anyway, always glad to see video of budgetmonk🙏 perhaps the sole guy to share vh strats/ideas and indeed quality ones🙏🙏🙏

Hello. I love playing with tons of subjects, but my problem is they NEVER build to their force limit. I tried to give them subsidies, and SOMETIMES it helps. But even having good enough budget balance like +2gold, they still need subsidies to build armies and when I cancel them, they delete "excess" units making them once again having 2k units while having 4k force limit

The AI is broken. In my current Hussite-Bohemia run, I have Poland as PU. They have had a force limit of 30 to 50 thru the campaign. But they have had 50 to 80 units, going broke several times. Seeing your vassal having a deficite of 10+ ducats and they are doing nothing to fix it. Terrible! I hope the AI gets a fix-up before they end EU4. Wouldn't want this AI to be the last version.

This tactic has been available for many years, from before they reworked the HRE. I always use this tactic, only difference these days is that I keep the provinces with great projects.

It’s funny cause I just discovered this last night playing as Catholic HRE Emperor Brandenburg and this vid just got released. I noticed that when I did that reform, my dip slots were freed and I experimented releasing vassals 😂

Is there a way to force princes to sujugation when you revoke? I also have a lot of trouble with big princes

Well this is exactly the point of this video. If you revoke you need to fight the nations anyways right? One option is to "build up the revoke" with this method. You do not gain AE with your own subjects. You can then destroy the nation who is not voting. Release as many tags as you can (no AE) then full annex and release the nation itself. Otherwise the best you can do is, be allied, RM if they allow, 200 relations, reputation and 100 IA. If they don't vote then. They are not going to.

You mentioning vassal favours reminds me of a nice meme game I did as Ming. Basically never declared war after Mongolia’s independence and was able to vassalize and annex half the world. The biggest trick I found for expanding against huge nations (mostly in India) was allying them and using favours to return core provinces to their neighbours that I had vassalized. There’s government reforms and shit for favour gain that help with that. Not super related but figured I’d mention it because it’s a dank meme and I’d totally make a video about it if I wasn’t so terrible at getting myself to make videos…

I always did this strategy for the last 2 years :) There is no point to do final 2 reforms, you can just make whole Europe as your vassals ans conquer everything with this swarm

My last game was a vassalize all the world as emperor, starting as Florence. I am in 1720 and i got up to half of Russia with vassalization, i don't know if in a century i can reach Japan.
