Yes, and people don't have to ride a road bike, mountain bike, or gravel bike to enjoy it. Most people would be better off riding commuter bikes, just like the ones used in europe and asia. Cheap and reliable.

I cycled in Mallorca a few years back with a friend. First cycling holiday, first time on a proper road bike. Yous ended up in the exact cove we stopped at. Massive descent then realised the only way out was back up. Used Bikehead in Palma. Looking forward to getting back to cycling once I get over this case of lymphoma.

This bike was really easy to assemble kzbin.infoUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

The only reason Mallorca is considered legenday among cyclists is the fact, that most of them never had the opportunity to cycle through Japan. Way better roads, way better views and definitely more solitary experience. ps. Still remember Hank reading Fukuoka as Fuck-you-oka

I really enjoy GCN but really feel it's time they have a presenter that's the average Joe, not an ex pro. It would be great to see more viewpoints from someone with average skill and also an average bank balance so to the mere mortals of us we can actually watch videos including bikes that may be in our grasp rather than the expensive bike porn that is now GCN. I really would love to see more bikes in the £1000-£2000 range. Hope this is something GCN considers. And I hope to god its Hanks dad....

Paper maps!!! If only GCN would just get a sponsor that did some sort of computerized GPS mapping thing then the GCN boys could just dump the paper.
@JBuchmann3 жыл бұрын
I think it was sponsored by Komoot. (The logo was in the top left for a bit). I think them using the map helped make for a more exciting trip... going the wrong way, not knowing how much longer to climb, etc. All part of the "hidden gem" theme.

The route on Komoot isn't the route the boys followed. They started their ride in a small port on the sea and ended their ride up a hill. The Komoot ride might use some of the roads in the video but isn't the same and it ends I'm Alcudia after a ride back across the plain.
