This feels more like Chael trying to justify to himself why HE doesn't have a legacy. Legacy is most definitely a thing. Anderson Silva, GSP, Khabib, Jon Jones, Fedor Emilanenko, these names will live on for quite some time, but it's because they were champions and were incredible to watch fight. Not to be a dick but I've watched Sonnen's fights and he's much more interesting to listen to than he is to actually watch fight. Not to say that he's not an amazing fighter, anyone who makes it to that level is a badass, but his style and caliber to me just falls kind of short of championship caliber and that's the reason more than anything else that he's not talked about all that much. He's interesting before the fight, but not so much during. People are attracted to all the drama that leads up to a fight, but it's the fights themselves that are remembered. So I don't think it's a case of "what have you done for me lately", it's just that as entertaining and solid as Sonnen was as a fighter, he's just wasn't impressive enough as a fighter to have a lasting legacy. I think he will have a legacy as commentator and shit talker though, and that's still a cool legacy to have.

jesse chilton I like the guy but I’m getting real tired of sugar crapping on about more money.
@abcd1234jason4 жыл бұрын
jesse chilton from what iv read they don't get paid much by UFC directly more from endorsements and sponsorship, why not while your stocks are high and everyone's talking about you sit back and make some money if he fights and loses and stocks drop he won't be at this point ever, I see what thee guys are doing and I would do the same, since masvidal beat Diaz he become known and probably tripled his income for endorsements and sponsors if he's going sit out 2 years and come back fresh his stocks will double again no doubt, cejudo as well smart guys he can fight one more time in 3 years will let him retire alone

Dustin is the best pure boxer in 155. The way he grinds man! Even under fire from hooker he wasn't fazed and picked his shots wisely. A championship Calibre fighter. And Dan hooker is an animal, worthy of top 5

Wrong. Teddy Atlas was talking about the UFC card today, and his biggest praise was for Erosa, who subbed Woodson as a massive underdog. That conversation alone will stir people to look at the sport as a whole, not just as a fan boy.
