I absolutely love those Zoro-Chopper-Moments. It always feels like Zoro is Chopper's dad or big brother, always looking after him and Chopper idolizing him. Also knew exactly what scene was meant in the title, that moment lives in my head rent-free.

I love that you love Chopper so much! It's really too hard to rank the Strawhats, isn't it? Totally agree that it's just that feeling that you can't quite define that makes you feel more about one of them. For me it's Luffy, I just love everything he does, lol. And I love that you caught on to how he picks up on when something is wrong! He's got great instincts and is a really good judge of character. Sidenote, but the part where Luffy said he "can't think of anything" isn't canon, it's part of the filler content in this arc. Of which there's going to be a LOT, fair warning. They put in repetitions and extra scenes to stretch the episodes. Their entering the Upper Yard with all the traps is about... 30% filler content, I'd say? There was only the pendulum axe blades and the lamprey in the manga. There's also a lot of scenes in the coming episodes, like where Nami slips a lot, that's not canon either (she's very sure-footed, really! We've seen her do some amazing things in those heels!). If you start to feel annoyed with the characters, or that something is off, you can be fairly certain that it's filler.

Chopper at this point of the story admires Zoro, is scared of Nami, believes whatever Ussop says, and is a little bro of Luffy. He doesn't have much interaction with Sanji and Robin.

There's a 2 team 1 is a two brothers (sanji and ussop) who trying to take care of the crazy brother (luffy) 2nd is a father son and a sensible mom (zoro chopper and robin) with some grandmother (nami) who won't listen to anyone and decide what should be done next. And fyi Robin's dark humor is going to be hell out of one throughout series that you guys want to watch out for.

Yes, in Japanese honorifics "-san" is used for respect to the people we conversate with (ie: Supperiors, Older individuals, and Strangers) to be polite and humble in the conversation. While "-chan" is used for girls that is younger or with equal standing with the speaker to be more casual in the conversation. So it would seem wierd that Sanji uses the opposite honorifics when he talk to/about Nami (a girl younger than him) with "-san", and Robin (a girl older than him) with "-chan". Carlie's theory is possibly the answer to that 😁
