Nice little collection of games. Players who are thinking of playing the Scotch Gambit should know that this one line is only a tiny bit of what one has to know but is probably the most recent topical line played by leading players recently. I run into this line playing white rarely online or OTB at the club level (around 1800 and lower).

I know little about this opening, but I did have a lot of success with the regular Scotch game as a lower rated player. This was very well explained and I might have to look into it deeper. Thanks for the analysis. There is a lot to learn from well annotated games like this.

Small mistake here. In that line with Qxb2-fxe6-Bxe6-Kh1-Qxa1-Nxe6-Bxe3-Nxc7+- After Ke7 it would be a blunder to take the rook. The right continuation for white would be Nxd5-cxd5-Qxd5

Hey sammy can I criticise something? Your voice is a bit monotonous but nevertheless great and instructive commentary.
