I actually don't mind damien, in theory. I can understand a story where Talia and Bruce end up having a child, the baby idea did technically exist long before damien's proper debut. And given how the league of assassins is, yeah he'd be the opposite of most other robins being well trained as a fighter but not being a normal person. Personally though, I'd probably handle it in a way that doesn't make Talia out as an irredeemable character. The main focus for Damien should always be developing his humanity and helping him become grounded, not stagnating or backpedaling that growth necessary to the character. Otherwise you risk having the character become a child psycho.

FIrst of all says who?ANd second of all no tf the it doesnt you must not watch much animations because these two look absolutely nothing alike. You cant say that but use a super specific art style of a random universe that 50% of people wouldnt notice the artstyle. So I know that this video is three months old, but I wanted to say what a good job you are doing and how much I enjoy your content. Also, you mention the Damien cameo in Hush as being funny, but pointless, and only included because he is a part of the animated continuity but not the story the film was based on If I'm not mistaken, I think by this time he has been a part of the Teen Titans and doing things in those movies, so it kind of works that he wouldn't be around. Anyway, keep up the great work!

I have to say you REALLY missed out on Damien's character journey by not also watching the Teen Titan movies where Damien is kind of forced to join the Titans, to learn how to be a kid but also his own person. And man... I will say. It works, the other Titans kind of poking fun of him for trying to look so adult and scary when he's what? 12? And all he can do is pout, is just funny. And his romance with Raven actually works, I got very much into their romance and I love how these two supposed. "Dark." characters just came across as complete dorky emo's when together... But also it worked on an emotional level, as both of these kids at this time have seen horrors and deaths the others have not and therefore cannot understand, and that allows them to truly seek comfort in each other and genuinely develop a true attachment. And I will say it's actually Damien's genuine love for Raven that lends more to his character development than anything else in all of these movies, because for the first time he ends up being far more concerned about another persons well being than his own ambitions or goals.

agreed I noticed the sane thing with son of Batman and going forward and is my biggest problem with the new 52 movies and even sometimes in the first couple seasons of young justice that most of the voice acting being very robotic like the actors are just reading the lines with very little acting behind the delivery, even somewhat now with the newer movies!

I’ve seen every single DC animated movie, show, live action movie; everything. Possibly 20+ times each. I’m actually rewatching them now! They’re phenomenal. Incredible. Amazing. I also love the anime inspired style of animation. Im sorry but I don’t agree with you on everything negative that you say. I love Damian Wayne in these films. Also DC animated movies are LEAGUES better than Marvel animated content. With the exception of the 90s shows like x-men and spider man shows. But dude ugh you’re so wrong. I actually ended up loving these films. They finished this part of the franchise to quickly. My pethate is No Jason T or Tim Drake in these films especially when they were a big part of the Bat family at this point in the Bat franchise. For some reason The creators don't like Jason T or Tim Drake.

"Son Of Batman", "Batman VS Robin" & "Batman: Bad Blood" were absolutely *HORRID* adaptions of the comic books they were based upon. And don't even get me started on the abysmal animation of "Batman: Hush". "The Dark Knight Returns" parts 1 & 2 were the last good thing to be made by WB/DC animation.
