I never forgot this show. It was my favorite show on pbs. I have nostalgic memories of it to this day. Its to bad it ended after only 3 seasons. I'd love to see more (if no one ruins it. Theres a reason Arthur is more of a mixed bag).

I think a lot of dragon related media came out during this time period. Spyro the Dragon was new during Dragon Tales and we got How to Train Your Dragon years later but I used to watch Dragon Tales so much on PBS Kids. Glad to see this recommended to me.

Likely due to it being co-produced Sony and Sesame Workshop, they probably own like 50% each of the rights. Not sure who owns what parts or if they both own the rights to it, but it's still an issue

I saw some VHS copies of dragon tales at my grandma's house I don't think I watched it though I did grow up lots of VHS cartoons but I don't really remember dragon tales

I've never forgot Dragon Tales, it was my favorite PBS Kids cartoon. And I want to bring it back someday as a revival/continuation for more episodes (that aren't repeating old ones like the third season). I have so many ideas for new episodes and Dragon Land worldbuilding!

Before we had cable, internet, computer and all we had today. We had a big fat CRT tv in our family room. A hour before we had go walk to school we would watch Dragon Tails on the channel PBS kids. It came on every morning at 7am. Knowing we had no option and it was the only cartoon we can watch before we went to school we just accepted it. I remember doing this monday to friday with my siblings despite us not liking it. But what can we do? Our options were limited. Looking back at it I am kind of thankful we had at least something to watch as kids.
