I simply can't understand why she doesn't get the credit and respect this woman is due!
@brantsingleton84979 жыл бұрын
Arjun Unnikrishnan It's not that she doesn't get respect - believe me. Ask anyone about her, there is absolutely no denying her amazing vocals. It's just that younger generations are not familiar with her. But trust me, she is one of the most respected singers of all time.

I am 15 nearly 16 and celine dion is my favourite artist! I hate the songs of this generation. 19 hundreds were by far the best all years, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 i love them all. My family says i was born in the wrong generation. I agree. I love celine with all my heart!!
@mec7up9 жыл бұрын
+Arjun Unnikrishnan : why u say she doesn't get the credit ? She is the richest female in the world, only due to her voice.
@marcusvlin8 жыл бұрын
+Arjun Unnikrishnan Cause nowadays everyone only seems to love bitches like Mariah Carey; in other words, women who not only sing but do something extra like showing boobs/body or having diva moments. Celine is classy, has never been involved in any type of scandal, and that's exactly why she isn't as popular as others like Mariah. You actually never get to see Celine curse or throw shade at anyone, and that may be considered boring. She also has never changed her music style much.
@TheGawdessDravidienne8 жыл бұрын
Oh Celine can throw shade, but she doesn't go in like Mariah or Madonna. She's more down to earth and rrealistic

Your are right: resonant and effortless and I would add: powerful, even more powerful than many chest notes. To add more or less chest or head sometimes it is a matter of taste. I love Celine's high belts, even in head voice, they can be really powerful, even more than chesty ones by other singers.

For sustained Eb5s you could have used the ones from"can't live with you..." and"les blues du businessman", and a great F#5 -"have a heart", all live. @zeff88203 жыл бұрын
What do you mean by resonance? She has true resonance in her singing, many singers don't have that today, True ring/resonance can only achieved by chest development and Celine has that.

Lol, no. It's not an opinion. It's actually based on a fact. While singing in the upper reaches of the belting register, normally F5 and up, singers should mix with an even quality of chest voice, the voice you speak with, and head voice, usually 'woohoo's.' Many singers sing with more chest than head, which can cause serious strain. But what Celine was doing was adding too much head voice, but at least it was resonant and effortless, but still not her best. :)

Technically, her voice got better only because she quit dragging up chest in her higher belts which caused her to strain, thats the only reason why she got better. But she lost a good amount of strength she had in her voice from the 90's. So basically shes better now.

Devontae Weaver i disagree but even if... it's perfectly normal for singers to sing specific songs better than other singers simply based on how the singers voice sounds for that song. doesn't mean they're a better singer just means their voice is better for that song. I'm sure there are certain songs you sing great and others that just don't work for you at all
