I got diagnosed with an incurable, lifelong mental illness yesterday. I haven’t stopped crying or thinking about how this will impact the rest of my life it has the highest suicide rate because its just so hard to live with. I’ve been having some really bad family problems as well my sister ended up moving out of my house so i’ve been feeling really alone in the house dealing with a lot of mental & emotional distress but i couldn’t have discovered you guys at a better time, you two make me laugh so hard & take my mind off of my sh!t. Sounding off as requested: I would actually argue that a ton of makeup and clothing brands have pivoted to more inclusive marketing and branding, and I think it’s because they’re observed that those rebrands are generally well-received. The ones who refuse to pivot (e.g. Brandy Melville) have been getting flack for years

I can only speak for my own (art) school as a high school student but the girls these days wear their dad's jeans with a belt with an ornate buckle, a lingere top (thrifted) as a shirt and many many rings. Boys are kind of confused. There's a skater revival, but a lot of them just wear sweatpants that are too tapered. Nonbinary/queer kids are all over the place. In my experience they either choose one color and latch onto it forever, or they wear as many colors as possible all at once (I'm in the latter category). This is not clothing related but something needs to be done about whiteboy haircuts. It's terrible and they don't seem to know it.
