Hey Happy Father’s Day Mike! Nothing beats that sound of an R Model. Grew up around trucks. I remember as a kid the one thing I wanted for my birthday one year was a bulldog hood ornament! My mom took me to the Mack dealer and bought me one. One of the coolest experiences I remember from back then.

Haven't seen a Brockway cabover in year's! Or a diamond reo cabover. Kenneth Osborne Jr dad had some. Seeing them old macks brings back a lot of memories. The international transtar we had was a 290 cummins 10 speed and no power steering i was with you on that thought. Thanks for sharing safe travels buddy.

What a great line up of beautiful classics. Thankyou👍 A question for you Mike, why is it that there's never many old Western Stars at your shows over there do you know? Talking about the old heritage models likes of the black one you showed, 80s and 90s models and earlier, they are such cool trucks but never seem to see many at your shows or is it that no one really videos them much, I don't know?
@TheBostonTrucker3 ай бұрын
That's a good question, there were a good amount at this show but you're right, we don't see to many up here for some reason.

Another great video Mike i really enjoy these and the shows you attend. Dont get me wrong but to me these trucks and the type shows they are are way better than MATS or any custom shows .I guess im just old school but these trucks were what i saw as a kid and have run up and down the road with .I appreciate the new custom trucks and they are beautiful but the Macks Brockways and the cabovers are where its at for me. By the way i always thought the International Transtar were great looking trucks I drove one some for a buddy of mine pulling a dump trailer. My favorite truck in the world is the 359 Peterbilt and the 352 Peterbilt COE

At the 24:20 mark the blue and white Cabover 1953 w71 mack. In the late 90's into the 2000's the owner of that truck was in some VHS videos. The second video was all on 2 stick trucks,and how to drive them. This truck pulling a step deck trailer loaded with old farm tractors. Traveling around the hills of Colorado. A camera focused in on his shifting.and another camera guy in probably a pickup truck going through its paces. The driver was a trucker back in the day. But he was a licensed dentist by trade. Unfortunately, he past years ago. Its nice to see Dr. Bill's truck in good hands. The videos are on KZbin.

Excellent. PA is " Mack" central. Marmon might have been made in Texas. But, there's a lot of them in PA as well. Macungie is a spectacular show filled with awesomeness. The people and their trucks, Or? If you prefer? The trucks and their owners and drivers and admirers. I live further west, about a hour. Originally from NJ. Always had family in PA. Can't believe you've never been there! Glad it was more than you hoped for and you'll be back! God bless and safe travels.

@ 1:03:08 Anyone know if the burgundy / red ex hood A model from Ploch Farms was Hank Beaulieu's truck ? If so, glad it went to a good home. Hank would have been a great candidate for an interview on the good old days of outlaw truckin'. The world is worse off since he passed. I could listen to his tall trucker tales all day.
