Agreed. Availability is the most important ability. He’s simply not fit enough to be considered the best. Reece James has started 82 Premier league games in his career. Trent has 71 Premier League goal contributions in his career. That’s right, Trent has just 11 less goal contributions than James has starts.

Could it be possible that Reece James over-exerts in training which fast-tracks his growth but incities higher injury risk, whilst other players who play more consistently than him are more cautious and timid in their training which results in more of a slower growth but reduces injury-risk during games. Simply put, other right-backs are more intelligent in their training to ensure they are available to their team for the majority of a season.
