I'm hoping this is the 2nd part of THE HAIRLESS MEXICAN. It ended with Ashenden and The Hairless Mexican on the train from Lyons to Naples to intercept a Greek and take the papers he was expected to transport from Patras to Brindisi. Not sure why the stories have been put in such random order in the playlist but I'm still enormously grateful to neuralsurfer for making this goldmine available.

I'm thinking it's at least partially fancy AI and a good graphic artist to manage it. Because they are coming up with these so fast.

Who gives a toss about the 'graphics? It's a scene from at least a generation before this excellent story was set.

🇬🇧 Personally, I like all of it. The AI narration and the graphics. AI using the voice of Simon Stanhope. IMO

I agree. I usually hate AI, and I don’t really “get it”. But I do love listening to this and especially Somerset Maugham, who until recently I had only had heard of his name and so far love everything he has written! Where had I been?!

You can’t use someone’s voice (or face or foot or hand or other image) or other intellectual Property for monetary gain without authorization from that person. They can sue you if you do. Comments here keep insisting this is so-and-so’s voice - but if that were true it would have to be a contractual arrangement. Anyway, it doesn’t even sound like Stanhope.
