I have been to Poseidon in Miami and the food was exceptional! Very tasty and authentic. The service was amazing and I would recommend to anyone in Miami. It’s a must visit.

I prefer Astoria for a real taste of Greece. Miami is the Mykonos crowd. A place where “real Greece” is nonexistent.

As a Greek in Greece, (Piraeus,) I’m indifferent to these types of people. So you can run a bar, and feed drinks to college girls. Now that makes you Aristotle Onassis? Give me a break.

As an ethnic Greek that actually cares about ancient Hellenism I think most Greeks not only couldn't care less about it in anything but name but don't even have a definition of Hellenism. Most Greeks behave like Skopians. They use the name to boast to foreigners. They don't care to follow the cultural meaning behind the term. A Greek is suppose to care about philosophy and science. The tourist industry many Greeks are in has zero to do with ancient Hellenism. It's a national disgrace we are producing bartenders and maids rather than physicists and mathematicians,

100%; they'll come and go just like sooo many restaurants, bars, nightclubs etc that have come and gone in South Beach & Coconut Grove since the 1990s. this is nothing new. I wish them well, but the restaurant biz in South FL is very fickle.

@@gigilagous8020 Most Greeks are in Munich, Berlin , Hamburg. The working class ones. We are not as spread out as Greeks in the USA. We live in apartment buildings with mostly other Greeks, Greek Cypriots and Africans. I am in Hamburg.

@@andyp30 America is not a paradise at all for masses.some facts. 10 Million kids go to bed hungry every night. 2- 1out of 5 families are poor. 3 -2nout of 5 American Families are on the becoming poor.if they missed just one week of income.3.Stupidly,American pay very high,VERY very high medical fees.4.They pay 30+ years for their home.

Best? I live here and it is far from "best," unless your criteria is book bannings, lack of affordable housing, a home insurance crisis, record homeless, lowest paid schoolteachers, etc...
