It’s seriously both a nostalgic dream, and truly a good traditional Spider-man story all in one. Having the villains be the versions from other universes is perfect simply bc they don’t have to spent soooo much time setting up the MCU versions, we get to see these actors again in these rolls, AND we get a great Sinister Six-type villain all in one. I seriously can’t sing my praises for this movie enough, it’s seriously everything i wanted and more.

I feel this scene goes to show that the Green Goblin's deadliest weapon isn't his bombs, blades or glider. It's his WORDS. All it took was one short speech, and he turned nearly all the villains against Spider-Man. Which I believe shows the extent of the Goblin's intelligence. He is a master at manipulation, able to play mind games on par with Hannibal Lecter.

The moment he said Norman’s on sabbatical, I got chills. The Green Goblin was my childhood villain growing up, and the fact that he was more sadistic and sinister than before made me grin. Some villains you never forget, and the Goblin was one of them because to childhood me, he was the embodiment of evil, the devil himself. Willem Dafoe truly outdid himself in this movie.

I have a nephew who's a big MCU fan and since he knows I know a lot about Spider-Man from the comics and cartoons, he asked about Green Goblin on what is his goal and his motivation. And here's my opinion and what I told him. Honestly, there's no sense to Green Goblin's madness. He knows he has power that he compares himself to a god that can use his power for his own pleasure and amusement. And there's his intelligence that is also deadly as well cause he's a master manipulator that tries to mess with you with his words. This is the reason why Green Goblin is considered Spider-Man's archenemy. He's just insane. He's like what the Joker is to Batman.

I don't like spectacular goblin as ultimate goblin. In spectacular series norman osborn is flat greedy powehungry asshole, abuser and only cares about power and money, when you don't have big problems with your company, he is even ready to frame his son. Even evil side of Norman Osborn (green goblin)from tas and movies would never do that. My favorite are tas green goblin and William Defoe. Evil personality didn’t come out of nowhere, just because of accidents, it was part of him before. Every one of us have a beast inside and we holding him by morals. He has difficult relationship with his son. He is not good dad, but he isn't abuser as spectacular and ultimate.

This is definitely one of the most powerful and fantastic moment of Green Goblin! The way they portrayal Goblin in this movie was just excellent like how he was in first 3 Spider-Man movies and this is why Green Goblin is my favorite Spider-Man villain of all time. Also if that Goblin’s theme and Electro’s theme from TASM2 was played in that scene I would’ve had so much chills and you really did awesome job there dude!

Remember in Spider-Man 2 when he was unconscious from the accident and they were gonna surgically remove his arms but then his arms started killing everyone....meanwhile Ottos unconscious the whole damn time until its over! Now he's basically to blam for all those deaths. Bro kinda HAD to go villain. Matt Murdock couldn't help Otto out of that mess!

How cool would it have been Peter had been caught by surprise by a large bolt of electricity, sending him tumbling across the dirt. Getting up into a battle ready position, he faces his attacker. (cue music) Electro is already in the process of reforming himself up on the power lines; absorbing and channeling the electricity into another blast as his semi solid body changes from blue to yellow.

Willem Dafoe was downright amazing in this movie. He was like the best actor in this movie and his performance, I would dare say, is too good for the MCU. The way he contorts his face into a big smile and laughs, even when he's being punched, it's really freaky, and it's something the MCU wouldn't really do that much, but Dafoe; he did it regardless! And he really reminds you how much of an amazing actor he is. And as well as Holland, Molina, Garfield and Maguire being incredible in this movie, Willem Dafoe, without a doubt, joins the lineup of this film's best characters. I didn't have any complaints with his character's performance and writing. He was very true to what his character was in the original movie. And he brought the darkest elements to the film as well and really put Peter through the ringer. And it speaks volumes that it took a villain from the original Spider-Man movies to do that. And as a result, he has gone from being a good villain for me, to a GREAT villain, becoming my second favourite Spider-Man villain behind Doc Ock.

The Goblin is the top most formidable villain in the rogue gallery of Spider-Man. To not have him featured in the MCU is like not having magneto in a x-men story. Each time I hear his voice in these clips, it reminds me of Darth Sidious - that slow menacing way of talking, and the delivery of some of his lines - specifically "struggling to have eeeeverything you want" and later "too weak to take it!" Speaking of his voice, I love how the Goblin's return is made clear by the vocal shift in the scene before this one, when Doc Ock is asking if he's looking forward to having no darker half and being just him again. When Norman replies, "Just me," you can hear that it's really the Goblin speaking. I think he came back right then in response to what Doc Ock said.

I've been reading a really great NWH fanfic that starts in this scene: it starts out the way that it did here, but Peter senses the danger of letting the Goblin talk and webs his mouth shut before he can convince the others to turn on them. He then succeeds in curing Norman, Max and Flint, but things only devolve from there with Connors escaping and Flint, using the opportunity of Ned and MJ arriving through a portal, to reverse the spell. However, doing that only sends back Max and Flint, leaving the others and the 2 Peters stuck here. They're then joined by Strange and Bruce Banner and come to the conclusion that this particular universe is drawing in power like a gravity well which is why this universe has so many more superhumans compared to Tobey and Andrew's worlds. As Max and Flint's power, the energy that had drawn them in, was dissipated, the gravity well could no longer hold them. The same was true of Connors after Strange and Peter-3 cured him: he was instantly sent back to his own world. Since then, the gang has moved to the rebuilt Avengers Compound while they try to figure out how to fix this. However, it turns out that Norman wasn't completely cured and that the Goblin still exists. Peter-1 reveals that because Norman changed his physiology with the performance enhancers, it wasn't something that he could actually reverse. Instead, Peter's cure worked by balancing Norman out more mentally, giving him a greater degree of control and the Goblin unable to lock him out entirely. The Goblin is also less insane as a result. Peter used Bruce's metaphor from Thor Ragnarök from when he talked about the Hulk's 2 years of non-stop control over their shared body: instead of Norman being locked in the trunk while the Goblin's in the driver's seat, they both have a hand on the wheel now. They've been using the Compound's equipment to better test everyone's abilities and learn to work as a team and even upgraded Otto's arms using nanotechnology. Peter later realized that Bruce wasn't actually Bruce but Talos posing as him as he did with Nick Fury in Far From Home. The most recent chapters features the gang discovering 2 more Multiversal visitors: the Harry Osborns from Tobey and Andrew's worlds. They have to break them out of Ravencroft which proves to be a pretty cool chapter with Otto, Peters 2 and 3, Talos and his people and Norman performing the actual breakout. And when I say Norman, I mean both Norman and the Goblin: it starts off with Norman in control as he's the better actor, but for the first time he willingly gives the Goblin control when he discovers that his son is one of the prisoners. Their hidden escape routes are two hidden portals maintained Strange and Ned. It's not quite a flawless escape, but they pulled it off.

Willem Dafoe is the perfect actor to play the Green Goblin. His acting as the green goblin from both 2002 and 2021 was so amazing. He has an amazing gift for acting. I can't think of any actors out in the world that can one up Willem Dafoe on playing and acting as the green goblin. He is a legendary actor

This is the neat thing about Sandman and DocOc. Sandman was just given a bad hand in life so he isn’t bad at his core and Doc was trying to do something good for the world, he wasn’t evil at heart. Even the arms were just encouraging him to complete his goal by any means necessary.
