3:07 Haha doesn't just drive his car to the track, tows his wheels and tires behind his car on the way to it. ;) Kudos to Les Collins for doing the business to the motor and driver Greg for bringing the dream to life. The Green Hornet has well and truly come home.

The L-Type engine is amazing and I believe it is under appreciated. My 280zx has the L28E, and in some cases people have been able to get them up to 1,000hp... I'm going to upgrade mine to 200hp and keep it there for reliability though lol

The Green Hornet is my absolute favorite 240Z - right after my all original 1971 240Z I have owned since my senior year of college (1976) and will NEVER sell it. Now if I could only get a 72, 73 240, a 74 260, a 78 280 and a 1980 280ZX, I could build all the restomods I have reserved in my brain. I just have to win the lottery!

I love Z-cars. I loved mine, and loved the '70 that dad raced in the '70s (which is still racing up in the PacNW). I can't quite figure out what the car in the video is. The c-pillars aren't from a 1970 model. Did the originals rust out, or was the car crashed hard, or is this just a franken-car in the body as well as the mechanicals? The supposedly 'built' engine still has the rough, as-cast finish in the ports in the head?

The rear end is a OS Giken unit inside of a long nose R200, but the parts that interest me are the axles. Are these 29 spine axles going through a 240SX hub bearing? Because I notice that you still are running the 4 bolt pattern and there aren't many options for running CV's to a hub bearing assembly than that.
