McMahon is such a romantic, a personality trait of musicians, poets and artists, and Barney is a kind of his own, god bless Barney, a kind man and great musician

Notice how Tony played quietly at times to allow the Banjo to come through? The hall-mark of a master, no need to impress and drown other players out, but to blend with them, drawing in and out of the tune but even then, still quietly in the background. A master of slow airs too, learning the techniques from Seamus Ennis the piper.

Not easy to hold a crowd with a slow air on the accordion. Lovely.

Sadly won't come back anytime soon no more than we will see the Dunne Brothers with their fiddle and banjo busking outside 'Roches Stores in Patrick Street Cork on a warm spring day...
