What is the cause of wealth concentration? Henry George provided the answer in his writings during the late 19th century. The cause is twofold: first, the failure to publicly capture rents (i.e., the potential annual rental value of all locations and natural assets); and, second, the imposition of taxation on incomes earned producing goods and services, on tangible capital goods and on commerce. These fundamental injustices have also had a destructive impact on how humans have used and abused the planet.

Excellent analysis of futuristic economy!

Yeah, too bad it won't happen.

It’s a horrible analysis of a future economy. If you look at the future and energy it’s a poor prediction if you don’t look at the U.S. dollar and the global reserve currency. Without oil the U.S. as a reserve currency will lose market share especially as nations produce their own things which Trump started Biden is doubling down on reshoring. Imagine a world where we’re carbon free for energy, but imagine that comes at the expense of the collapse of the US dollar as the reserve currency or US debt as a reserve asset. Imagine nato falling after that when the U.S. can’t just print money or borrow unlimited because they lose reserve currency status which Henry Kissinger helped propped up with oil.

Dude, you're wrong about cows contributing to methane greenhouse gasses. All those tons of methane is coming from arctic Greenland and antarctic permafrost reserves melting. Also young people DO want to own cars.

You have no idea ….

@@duboisadu No you have no idea, do you know what permafrost is? Your understanding is very limited and that's obvious. Methane comes from methane lakes buried in the ground in permafrost. It's been frozen since the last ice age but now it's warming up releasing. Methane is 30% worse than CO2 for it's half life than converts to CO2 than to water. It's too much methane from permafrost being release it's contributing to green house gas exponentially.

Excellent visionary with one big blind side-- apparent ignorance of regenerative agriculture and regenerative grazing. It's not the cow it's the how!

Idk regenerative ag is kind of laughable. I read sierra club article against feedlots. It’s like oh they’re bad. I live in a rural area with a few feedlots. Farmers use cow manure for fertilizer rather than using synthetics. And cows sleeping on cow crap in a feedlot should not matter. Cows sleep in snow or sand dunes etc. It’s like feedlots actually are somewhat good if mounds of crap generates heat keeping cows a bit warmer rather then sleeping on cold frozen snow. And ya biochar is great and worm castings etc. but most farmers I’ve listened to on youtube rarely ever mention fungal vs bacteria dominated worm castings. A lot of people clearly are simply regurgitating things. One guy is like I no till now my farm and it’s great. I’m like that’s awesome you’re regenerative but you’re rich enough you could make your own biochar and worm castings tea at the bare minimum and not just brag online you’re no till farming now. And grazing is fine. The issue there is the government from my view. I’ve heard of one story of ranchers coming together and forming one large herd and working with the forest service to figure out different grazing rotations. But my grandpa for instance gave up after 20 years of trying tk get permission to build a corral on public land. A corral would reduce a cattle drive by two hours. It would reduce carbon pollution because we would simply be able to get a couple head of cows that were missed rather then having to driving the pick up behind cows as you drive them for two hours. Like the forest service is a joke.

If the U.S. dollar ends being the sole reserve currency NATO very well could shrink or change dramatically as the U.S. subsidizes the heck out of it and the pentagon. If the pentagon was a nation it’d be like in the top 25 of polluters. Do you really think it’s fair for fighter jets to fly endlessly??? How about we go carbon free and use nuclear reactors for jets and airplanes. Haha it’s the only way you could get a plane electric is to go nuclear!

GOD I cannot stand the way this guy talks at everybody, knowing every little detail about this little future world of his. And he's never really ever been right about anything. But hey, how's that European smart grid coming along, lol.
