Second biggest mistake in this video was running headfirst into that asteroid that brought you to 1%. The biggest was me taking a gulp of water after you said gg and then nearly blowing it all over my PC after the, uh... plot twist!

Nice flying! I hope your opponent killed that NPC for what it did to you haha. I disagree with the people who give you flak for using a mouse. I personally got a HOTAS recently and it is definitely a challenge, and to be as accurate as you are would take a great deal of practice and I would be at a disadvantage especially since I’m not using a mouse. However, that does not make using a mouse “cheating” or make any other negative adjective applicable to using a mouse. Many people don’t have access to an expensive HOTAS, people who are trying to reach the peak performance possible use the most optimized tools to do so and there’s nothing wrong with that. I’m still going to try to get as accurate as I can with a HOTAS though! Maybe I’ll have the honor of dying at the hurty end of your hardpoints. See you out there! o7

Can I be that guy and ask for your build? I built a fixed MC FDL and then realized that i'm not a Korean MLG so I need to change things up a bit and I was thinking PA's and Rails would be taaasty. And of course excellent flying! Except for when it wasn't ;) I could never hit a rail shot with FA off, dope!

I don't understand how you maneuver like this with FA off... When I fly high-speed with FA off, I feel the only way to maneuver is by boosting -- but you seem to have much more short-range control than that. Also, how do you line up your rail shot without any kind of wobble? This video really makes me question my own flying skills -- and I've been practicing a lot. It's kind of depressing.

Oh wow, thanks. Come to San Tu! There are many who can do what I do! Most hardcore PvP groups (RoA, RSM, NMD, TT, SDC, CCC, etc.) have excellent pilots. Be sure to check out the PvP league fights!

Epic.. no, wait.. Awesome.. no, that's not the word.. AMAZING!! Okay, words can't describe how good that fight was, but I will tell you this. It's because of you that I started practicing with Railguns on my Fer-de-Lance. I've noticed in alot of cases they saved your life in more than one way. Question: What size SCB are you using? Because I'm a Bi-Weave Fanatic as well & I'm baffled as to using a SCB for Bi-Weaves. Smart, sure, but doesn't it take a major hit on hull?

Thanks LOL! Be sure to check out the PVP league fights. There is plenty of really good material. SCBs on my FDL are 2x Class 4 which I often doublebank (though not always). It's pretty standard to go with SCBs on a Bi-Weave FDL. Of course, hull is therefore only about 1050 instead of 2500.

Although I am in VR I have moved to KBAM when my HOTAS broke down a year ago. Turned out that this works really well for me.

deZpe, LOL! You crack me up dude..ofc you like your mouse better..It's the most accurate aiming tool for that game, especially for FAO & Fixed Weaps. Most if not ALL top PvPers are using KBAM in San Tu...Gee, I really wonder why hmmmm....C'mon!

@@jwalker8840 I can't recall having denied the superiority of KBAM in any way, especially for using railguns. I've actually stated that "I am a true believer in the ways of FA OFF and the use of mouse and keyboard" in my tutorial vid on rails. I would encourage you to stop flaming and either try it out for yourself or deal with the fact, that some control methods are simply superior to others. There are also CMDRs flying with Xbox controllers and trackballs. They don't complain about it.

deZpe, I totally agree with what you are saying..That's exactly my point so thanks for confirming. Btw, I already tried, that's why I know, otherwise why would I make the comment? I ain't complaining...just stating the facts, giving Daniel an answer with my opinion..after a few thousand hours in the game mostly in combat, I doubt you have anything to teach me. I fly FAO/Fixed with a HOTAS that's where the challenge is at. KBAM is superior and is the easy way out..not impressed..I would never fly anything with KBAM that's against my immersion. About the console peasants...sad..no comment..To each it's own...flamme out!
