Definitely put a new wheel well and it helps prevent rust especially with winter coming up fast. You don’t want the salt getting in your wheel well and eating away at your quarter panel.

If you move out to Cali, you don't have to replace the wheel well. Outside of the Sierras, we don't have snow, so no road salt to destroy the wheel well.

I have told people from the beginning that the best way to make a quad tougher is to make it lighter. I have argued and argued with people about the fact that I believe the 2fiddy is more durable then the majority of 5” frames. The are like no way the carbon is thinner. It’s weight that gives the big quad’s momentum that’s hard to absorb. So keep it up

Why? Durability, I have super limited funds, I usually build my drones over the course of weeks and weeks saving up for each part one at a time so if and when I break something it is not cool at all...
