The back button was amazing for breath of the wild. I set it as my sprint button. Try it. Game changer.

The back button is nice for BOTW so you can sprint and move the camera at the same time.

I don't really understand your complaint about the Split Pad Compact feeling bulky in comparison to the official joy cons. Isn't that the whole point of buying them? If you didn't want something bulkier than the OG joy-cons you wouldn't even be in the market for something like this product in the first place.
@jdxcoffee Жыл бұрын
ergonomics can still feel bulky. they feel better but I dont like em. just like an ergonomic office chair is better for me but I hate the look so I dont get it

I can’t use joy cons in handheld mode for extended time. I’m using hori split pad pro with switch OLED tablet. Hori downside is lack of gyroscopes. I don’t t care about nfc and vibrations.

Switch owner for a year and most of the time I've used controls its been a chore play especially analogs in marked for 3rd party joy cons now possibly getting older gen of these coz are even bigger, not a fan of switch joycons unfortunately just my subjective option.

I agree with you man. I was looking at Hori Split Pad Pros, the compacts as well as RetroFlag’s GC inspired dock-controller. I ended up just scrapping the idea altogether because I prefer the sleek, light, fully-featured and very portable Joycons from Nintendo. To add, I also have translucent atomic purple extremerate shells on my joycon that I just really get excited about every time I look at them.

Still using the mobapads lol ... No gyro but these things are holding up man. 8 months later

I feel like people are missing out honestly. Wulf Den did a review of them like a year ago. They also lose joy con functionality but have the best feel. Solid ergonomics and mechanical switches dude. What's not to love

oOoo digging that table! The Gangar ones look so sick I can't wait to open the box. Yes they're bigger than the Joycon - that's what they're for! Bigger than Joycon but smaller than Split Pad Pro. For people who want that size. I dig em, but I'm with you - I actually like the joycon quite nicely. Even despite my big hands. It's the baby sticks I'm not the biggest fan of. Especially when you start playing Xbox/console quality games, namely first person shooters. All these controllers though really do make you realize how much perfectionism went into the design of the original joycon.

I have changed my mind in them. I really like the feel of them. The gengar ones are SICK. I wish there was rumble though. Only real complaint.
@switchunboxing2 жыл бұрын
@@jdxcoffee Yeah that sucks Nintendo won’t let them. Gotta love the officially licensed controllers.. Only unlicensed third party controllers for Switch will have rumble.

Hello, Im a noob at this, and am having a hard time understanding how to set up and get my new 1 tb micro sd card working. I messed up my old sd card and got a new one, because of error messages. I put my new sd card in switch, after formatting to fat32, and get error message this micro sd card is being used with another nintendo switch console or was used with this console before, but this is a new card. all my files are backed up on my pc. I dont know waht to do, do i format on switch, will give me exphat, then format on pc to fat 32, or what do i do to get everything running smoothly. Please help, thanks
@switchunboxing2 жыл бұрын
Did you figure it out? You need to format it with the Switch and that's it. Needs to be formatted for your specific device via the settings.

Joycons are for kid hands. Horrible ergonomics and fatiguing after long sessions. The thumbsticks on the Hori are so much more comfortable and accurate. The X,Y,A,B buttons are spaced out enough where your thumbs aren't cramped up. Don't regeret the Split Pads purchase one bit. Also, even more comfortable yet larger are the Pros, its super comfortable like the XBox controllers

@trza49er Жыл бұрын
The problem with a grip is that you’re still stuck w the awfulness of Nintendo’s joycons. The sticks absolutely suck ass and the button layout is cramped. I’ll happily ditch the gyro and rumble for the feel and accuracy of the Hori sticks.
