haha i had texted my dad earlier this week that i was coming over this weekend to see “usman get dethroned.” i was rooting for edwards and i was pretty worried by the 4th that he’d lose by decision. by the end of the fight i was screaming and jumping around with my dad who kind of wanted usman to win and i didn’t even bet money it was so wholesome and he finally got his respect 👌🥲

I watched the whole thing live and i think what made it more unexpected was it happened in the last minute and usman was just dominating the whole fight and then BOOM a perfectly time high kick out of nowhere so unpredictable, unexpected, surprising and shocking all in one. Especially cuz it wasnt luck that was just skill and superb timing.
