Loved that you showed the work, also this was the last game I played with matrix (my childhood cat) sitting in my lap

Awesome loop setup! It's always cool to see these live loop demonstrations. And it's always a good time when ol' Groose makes an appearance lol.

Thanks! I've been wanting to do a looping video for a while, and since I didn't know what I wanted to do this month I figured now would be a good time, and Groose would be the right theme. XD

That was very fun and interesting to watch with the comments. Great work and excellent chosen track for this exercise.

@@cookedchicory6742 Thank you! I tried not to think too hard and just let this project happen, and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. ^^

Live looping has always intrigued me - and I'm especially fascinated with you managed to make it work with Reaper!
@BrendanVavra6 ай бұрын
I'm convinced you can do anything with Reaper if you try hard enough

Such a rad concept, really enjoyed reading the process as it was happening!

Thank you! I actually had fun writing up the commentary - I originally did it to make the video a bit more interesting since there's a fair bit of repetitiveness and waiting, but now I may go back and add some to my other videos...

Wow, that was really awesome and creative! It's amazing how you got it all in one take looping too, there were so many instruments and the shaker had to be one of my favorites haha. Well done, the groose has succeeded!
@BrendanVavra6 ай бұрын
Thank you! I had almost called this video "Groose but the shaker goes too hard", but the current title makes me chuckle each time I read it so that won in the end.

@@BrendanVavra Haha, the groop is the loop has a fitting alliteration to it!

this was super informative to watch! and what a perfect tune for the trombone too so rad!

I had no idea what track I wanted to do this month, but then this tune floated from the back of my memory and I was like "ok, this is perfect."

I've been wanting to try a live-looping cover for ages - I actually had one almost fully set up for a PM contest a year or so ago, but time ran away from me that month and I never got back to it. XD

Thanks! All in all this project didn't take as long to put together as most of my others, but I enjoyed trying something new with this one.

This is cool! Have you thought about streaming live looping?
@BrendanVavra6 ай бұрын
Thanks! I've not (not until now at least) - I've considered streaming practicing tunes a couple times, but I think to do some live-loop streaming I'll need to improve my groove improv chops a bit. XD
