Taking advantage of my time in Zell Am See by tackling the biggest climb in the area, The Grossglockner. It turned out to be the toughest climb I have ever done.

Definitely worth doing. Great riding, great climb... The lake, mountain combo is a real winner.

"....And it's on cobbles." Lol. Beautiful ride, beautiful day. Might have to try and do this on our Europe trip next year.

It really is one of the best and one of the toughest. I have done Alpe d'huez, Ventoux, Gd St-Bernard and many others but I really think the Grossglockner is the toughest. I would advise going earlier in the day so there is less traffic on the climb. It is a real challenge but so worth it.

What gearing did you use? Keep up the great videos

I used 39x28. I rode up at around 4W/kg and avg cadence was just below 70. A slightly easier gear would have been nice. If you were to ride up slower a 32t rear cog or a compact chainset would make it more enjoyable...
