Cole Madden nah man that’s a common misconception, i used to think the same. but i watched Brooks say it directly from his mouth on an instagram live video from last month. people were commenting questions and that’s one of the ones he answered. Matt is singing that verse & Brooks also said Matt is usually singing along with him on every recording.

The Shrubs not sure where the confusion is? People usually think it’s Julian Casablancas who sings that verse on Too Many Times, but it’s actually Matt Taylor the guitarist who sings that verse. Brooks, the singer, laid that rumor to rest in an interview that i watched on instagram.
